Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee our administrative operations and ensure efficiency within our historic cemetery. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-driven, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership skills to manage office procedures and create a productive workplace.
Duties:
- Manage office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with cemetery policies
- Oversee the maintenance of office facilities and equipment
- Maintain office records, including financial transactions, scheduling
- Submit employee hours and maintain payroll records
- Manage schedules, appointments, work with Cemetery Board and Superintendent to ensure efficiency of cemetery
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or relevant administrative role
- Proficiency in using office software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems, clerical tasks, and recordkeeping
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with employees and the public
This is a part-time position, pay is based on experience.
